Our flagship journal is The Review of Macroeconomics and Forecasting. When operational we will publish the forecasting performance of our own research and of our flagship macroeconomic forecasting model. We will compare this performance to three alternative forecasting approaches. In addition, we will publish innovations to the profession’s macroeconomic models and evaluate these models through their forecasting performance.
Call for Papers
To launch The Review of Macroeconomics and Forecasting in 2021, we are asking for submissions of papers from economists outside of the Institute. All submissions must examine the forecasting performance, both theoretical and actual, of a macroeconomic model that is to be published jointly with the analysis of forecasting performance.
