We collect contact information from the users of this website in two places on this website, when someone registers for a seminar and secondly when someone donates to the organization. We collect contact information for obvious reasons, to provide a list of attendees to a seminar, and to obtain a list of donors. In both cases, we need this information for our future marketing. This contact information is not stored on our website. We collect this information using WP forms Lite (Word Press Forms Lite). WP forms Lite puts contact information into an email that is sent to the Executive Director (Dr. Swaine) on a different server. That information is then entered into a database stored on a local machine, not on this website. Once the information has been entered, the email is deleted. We DO NOT COLLECT social security numbers and dates of birth.
When a seminar attendee pays for a seminar on our website, they pay using an add-to-cart button from PayPal and then a checkout button from PayPal (Pay without a PayPal account). Similarly when a donor contributes money on our website, they use a donate button from PayPal. You do not have to have an account with PayPal in order to pay. When you click the PayPal buttons, you can click on an option to pay by credit card, or debit card in which case you are taken to a guest checkout on the PayPal website. The financial and contact information entered in the credit card or debit card payment option are entered on the PayPal website, not on our website. Please check the privacy policy and encryption of financial information policy from PayPal. We do not ask for financial information on our website and so all of your information is secure and private. We are committed to maintaining a secure privacy policy on our website.
